“You say you love your children above all else, and yet you are stealing their future in front of their very eyes.” -- Greta Thunberg
Adults, families, seniors-- show your support for our high school youth! Students from up to 60 area high schools (pictured above) will lead the way, followed by employees from major high-tech firms, faith communities, and grassroots organizations. This local action is part of a massive global climate strike happening on this day and for that whole week. 350 Silicon Valley is an official sponsor of the San Jose event.
- 2:45 pm - March begins at San Jose Diridon Station, 65 Cahill St. (take Caltrain or other public transportation if possible)
- 4 pm - Rally starts at San Jose City Hall Plaza, 200 E. Santa Clara St. (until 5 pm)
Until we all turn out in force, the politicians won’t act and businesses (especially oil companies and banks like Wells Fargo) will continue to exploit our planet.
