  • Green California 2019 Advocacy Day - Aug 27

    The 2019 Green California Advocacy Day will be held on Tuesday, August 27th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm in Sacramento, followed by a celebratory awards reception from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. This is the environmental community’s annual opportunity to come together and deliver a clear and compelling message about our priorities to legislators and their staff.

    Deadline to register is by Friday, August 9th at 6:00pm.

    Please plan for a FULL day of meetings. Our first meetings will be at 10:00 am; the last will begin at 4:30 pm. We will be fielding teams to meet with dozens of legislative offices on August 27th. Our air, land, and water need your voice!

    Friday, Sept 20 -- Youth-led Climate Strike and Adult Walkout in San Jose

    Support youth! Students from up to 60 area high schools (pictured above) will lead the way, followed by employees from major high-tech firms, faith communities, and grassroots organizations.  This local action is part of a massive global climate strike happening on this day.  350 Silicon Valley is an official sponsor of the San Jose event.

    • 2:45 pm - March begins at San Jose Diridon Station, 65 Cahill St. (take Caltrain or other public transportation if possible)
    • 4 pm - Rally starts at San Jose City Hall Plaza, 200 E. Santa Clara St. (until 5:30 pm)
